Blues Dancing (How to)
$12.00
In this workshop Rob and Lyndee will teach the basics of blues dancing, and give some specific pointers for variations and style. Blues dancing gets its name from the kind of music people started doing it to. It’s a partner dance with loose lead-follow roles, but it’s more like Argentine tango than other partner dances, in that it is focused on listening to and reflecting your partner’s movements. Connection is the key to any good dance; come hone your skill, so you can open every dance up to fun, interactivity, and magic.
In preparing workshops for this year, some folks asked about general social dancing, like what you would do at weddings. If you have an event like that coming up, then this workshop is the best one this weekend to get a crash-course in partner dance skills that can be applied almost anywhere.
Included automatically in the Full Weekend Pass.
